The Dewey Fire Department is part of Dewey Fire Company No. 1, which is a volunteer based fire and rescue company serving the community of Hellertown, located in Northampton County, Pennsylvania.

The department is equipped with 3 Class A engines including two with CAFS, one of which is being set up to be primarily used for rescue.

Dewey Fire and EMS are dispatched by the Northampton County 9-1-1 center ("County"), which was also know as Northampton County Control. It is located in Nazareth. We are dispatched and operate on the following frequencies:
