The Dewey Fire Company's Social Club is a fraternal association of dues-paying members who are at least 21 years of age. The Club is located inside the Fire Company's building between the Apparatus Floor (Emergency Trucks Garages) and the Banquet Hall. The Club has restricted entry to members only however, members are permitted to bring in guests occasionally. The Club is licensed under the PA State Liquor Control Board and must follow that organization's strict rules pertaining to private clubs.

   The Club offers much in the way of entertainment including a fully-stocked bar, a pool table, various video machines, a satellite-based juke box and 4 large screen HDTV screens. There are about 15 bar stools around the bar and four additonal bistro-style tables with chairs for patrons to relax and enjoy the friendly atmosphere. Smoking tobacco products is still permitted within the Club area only.

   The Social Club and associated business venture, is overseen by the Board of Managers (BOM). The BOM is composed of the Vice-President, the Recording Secretary, the Treasurer, the Financial Secretary and 5 members who are appointed annually by the President from within the Fire Company who hold no other elected office. The BOM meets once per month to discuss the business of the Social Quarters including reviews or revisions of the house rules, the bookkeeping and daily transactions of the Social Club and the operation of the Banquet Hall and kitchen facilities. The President presides at these meetings.

   Persons wishing to join the Social Organization may review the various membership classes and requirements here soon. Those persons wishing to apply shall complete an application form that may be downloaded from here soon and submit it with the required fee by mail to the Dewey Fire Company at the address listed below.
